           Indian farmers feel  farming is an art it is mainly learned from their fathers and forefathers. Farmers use traditional methods and conventional methods in their work. India has a rich source of species diversity and traditional cultivating varieties of plants.In many rural areas, agriculture is predominant and it is their livelihood.

            The history of Indian agriculture dates back to 1100 BC. Worldwide India ranks Second in farm output. With my experience in farming and allied activities in rural India, I will give you a brief on situations they are facing.

           If you type Indian farmers in any search engine the result you will get  Farmers suicides in India. By saying these words, you can understand the present condition of Indian farmers.

          Why is this happening?

    Government  is not taking care, Presence of  Middleman, No sufficient extension programs, Lack of scientific knowledge, No supporting marketing systems, Lack of irrigation facilities.....

                Is this a valid reason for suicides ????????????

              No, these are not valid reasons.

• A large number of schemes available in India but farmers suicides are not decreasing why this is happening because Farmers are not directly benefited.
• Farmers in rural areas don't have sufficient access to information they need. All Farmers are applying fertilizers and pesticides on their own or From another farmers suggestions. They don't have an effective platform where they discuss and come to a conclusion.

•  In India toll- free numbers are available for farmers help but  no farmer will remember it. Earlier we have a toll free number of 4 digits but now it changed. A campaign should start where every farmer should know this toll- free number and it's usage. Farmers should educate all communities for accessing government networking sites.

• I am an agricultural graduate I have found farmers will not accept any new machinery or New varieties or any New techniques easily. This is because without sufficient approvals some fraud is going on. 
• The Government should concentrate on identifying such companies ban them.

         I can say a plenty of examples no marginal farmer / poor farmer in India don't have sufficient knowledge about their agricultural officer.What is his duty?

        All surveys related to farming sectors are blunders. Surveying sheets are signed by employees working in their own office showing the name of poor farmers. If surveying is done properly staff is not enough for doing their work. The ratio of employees per hundred number of farmers is very less.

        You know about the condition of banks like NABARD in my area it is in an apartment where you can't find it easily and this branch is the only office in my district.

• Government spending a huge amount for farmer welfare, but it is not reaching  to farmers hand. Recently after a cyclone my father get a compensation of 4000 per acre his investment towards it is 7 times the compensation amount. Nowadays money is remitted directly in farmers account but after receiving some amount they should pay a bribe for receiving money.

       I practically came through a problem where for getting compensation farmers should give a bribe I asked farmers not to give bribe, but nothing happened farmers are saying, it is a formality.

       Is giving bribe is a formality??????????????

      What can I do? A foolish student like me cannot change it change should come in entire society. I can discuss a lot more but if  I do so my post will not end.

            See whatever you eat from morning to night is coming from a farmers struggle.Respect farmers it's your duty to respect them.

           Nowadays grains from the fields are filled with the blood of farmers.Youth from farming community diverted to other occupations if this continues what is our future after 20 years. Small and marginal farmers are suffering a lot if you come through stories about farmers suicides you will feel sad about their situations.

           I alone cannot change it friends put your hands together.If you want to help any farmer in your locality just organize a meeting and educate them about government schemes toll- free numbers. Start discussions about this don't let our farmers die your single hand will uplift millions and millions of farmers.Organize a campaign in every social media platform just promote the word "Save Farmers".


                          The change should start from an individual.

rural youth

               We people from the rural area are excited, anxious about the things going around the world.

                I don't ever forget my first step into a city where I see a string of jewels hanging  from the walls of big malls. If I compare it to my village where power cut is about 8 hours a day no street lights even no large buildings.

              We don't have a good dressing sense I agree but why people used to criticize us. Don't ever do that if you didn't like say it frankly. We can adjust to our surroundings every rural youth can adjust we have seen many things in our childhood. We people wear a large number of traditional dresses when festivals arrive.

            We are poor I agree why people are discriminating us we are equal as you. Don't do that you may know in rural areas money can be seen at the end of a season. So we celebrate with all our neighbours we spent a huge amounts everybody uses to buy goods from the market during festivals. In India, rural spending is more and our retails stands high.

            We are not well educated I agree but why sustainable agriculture is so popular and why all  need traditional techniques in scientific studies. See, education in rural India is not up to  the mark because we don't have enough facilities. If we have equal facilities, urban friends we can compete with you. Don't ever criticize us help us we will be with you.


             We people are not so clean when compared to you. I agree then why dumping areas are increasing
all over cities. You may know in rural areas we use to decompose our own household waste and use it as a manure.Living in smaller communities but with proper and good natural resources.

                We people came from rural background having a small community in our village.I didn't see anybody speaking in English in my area I am excited and even confused by seeing people communicate in English even in our own state. we are discriminated by urban friends because we don't have enough knowledge in English. we can learn anything we are your equals, but it may take some time that's all.

               We are  from rural background without having sufficient amount in our hand spending more and more because to get attention from you. We will go to debts and lastly I don't want to say it. Don't criticize us help us.

                 This is a very small thing to you, but we are facing problems. Don't criticize us help us..... We don't have enough facilities and knowledge like you but help us friends one day you will feel happy for encouraging a rural boy/girl to achieve his/her goals. The world is in a digital era moving in greater speed, but we are still discriminated by many.

                        I will not forget my first touch of a cellular phone which is very small somebody from long distance is communicating with us wow! If I compare it with my village some own a cellular phone today before 10 years we use to go to nearby town which is 25 km from our village. Write a letter/telegram to a friend/family member.Nowadays communication is developed in rural areas also. Thanks to you friends for making these electronic gadgets for easy living. Your contributions are so high in rural communities contribute your help then miracles will happen. Yes, we need urban friends like you and we need your support.

   "Living for yourself gives little happiness to you But living for others makes entire society happy" :-)

With my experience in rural India.

VILLAGES IN INDIA

In  India so many villages are there, I am from a small village named RAMAVARAM in Andhra Pradesh. People in rural areas  having very close relationships.Villagers used to make decisions as a community or as a whole. In villages, religious customs are strictly followed what may be the religion.Their collective hands are so rigid to break.

LIFE IN RURAL AREAS:
Friends in this modern world nobody even in dreams think about sleeping on borders of your fields.
 we people like to sleep in fields at the time of harvesting enjoying the fresh air coming from the fields. Sleeping peacefully without any fear. Children use to play a large number of games encouraged by the elders, They use to swim in nearby rivers, use to collect fresh vegetables from fields all are affectionate towards children.

 We use to climb trees a varied number of games are played not seen in any areas except in rural areas. At night, we use to sleep in a  group,  sleeping outside the house listening to stories from elders. In the rural community, combined families are more and all relations are maintained well. At festival times, all villagers gather at places where religious folk dances, traditional arts and crafts are seen.

RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN PEOPLE:

People in rural India are strict to their traditions. Everybody know the identity of others. Women children are of utmost cared. In our villages, we can rarely see some wild animals like deer, wild hogs, peacocks .... Even animals are loved some tribals use to feed them affectionately.
 A large number of  tribals use to visit our weekly local market. They are so affectionate and people from all villages use to come to the market on weekends all gather together sharing joy and happiness together. Even women are helped by the neighboring women in ceremonial activities. A large number of  traditional cuisines are known by rural women. Communication between people is very high.

EDUCATION SYSTEM:

Education in rural India is not up to mark, but now it is changing. When I was a child I use to see so many of our fellow  brothers are not going to school. sisters are not allowed to go for higher studies, but now people are changing. I want to share some of my school experience. My school is 12 km from my home we use go by bicycle within small areas we have a lot of friends. Our friends varied from Old to young even shopkeepers all are our friends. In rural areas teachers are been respected and they treated equally to the god.

A FAMOUS PRAYER TO TEACHER where the teacher is equal to lord Brahma, Vishnu & Maheshwara. Guru is equal to the god. we use to respect every teacher they sometimes punish us but all the time they want our life to be very good.

         TEACHERS use to teach us by standing we may reach to any stage, but they stand there with a smile and say "He is my student" with proud in their face. They don't want anything from us so, we should not forget our teachers.

           So coming to my experience in rural India some funny experience I will share with you.
         Sometimes we use to go to movies without knowing to our parents. In rural areas, a movie theater is so annoying. We use to get a ticket for just 3 or 5 rupees and going to sit on the floor where there are no chairs in our theaters. No fans, if you spend money and get a ticket for a chair then chairs are full of body louse. In that hard situations also we use to see films happily dancing in the theater.Sometimes at night if electricity is not there we use come out gather at one place use to play singing songs listening to elders. Sometimes we use to rob something from nearby fields its just for fun if we get caught out. Then god is going to help us. There are so many experiences if I recall them I feel very happy.
       
                Seasons influence us we use different natural available materials for making some cart and enjoys in every changing season.
